Okay guys, statement time.

Sometimes I get a little frustrated with the whole makeup- no makeup debate. Some people are all “Ewwwwww, girls who cake on their makeup, it’s awful. I want a girl who goes au natural, makeup is awful, it’s so fake blah blah blah” while others respond more like “Wow, look at that girl? Can you say feminine fail? Doesn’t wear makeup, god you can totally see her acne. What an ugly bitch.”

Can I just say something?

 I don’t understand the makeup stigma, pro or con. I think both looks have their merits. There are some days when I’m feeling really confident about my looks so I go without even a hint of mascara (or I’m lazy and late to class). Other days I look in the mirror and thank whoever invented coverup and eyeshadow. Sure, without makeup is fresh and natural but there are some days when I like to get a little artsy and play with my look, y’know. Add some drama to my brown eyes. 

I guess I’m just trying to say is that there’s beauty in both and no need to over-praise one or the other.
